The
Museum of the Gorge at the Old Severn Warehouse is just a short stroll along
the river from the Iron Bridge. A giant 12-metre model depicts what the Gorge
was like in 1796, complete with a royal carriage crossing the Bridge, cargo
on a Severn Trow and a tiny figure toiling in a coalmine.
